·  B.S.  in  Electrical  Engineering  or  equivalent  skills  from  the  rechargeable  battery,  automotive  or  power  conversion  industry;
·  5-10  plus  years  hands-on  experience  with  Test  Engineering  and  automation;  familiarity  with  high  power,  high  voltage  equipment;
·  Strong  hands-on  aptitude;  must  be  a  builder;
·  Experience  with  Automotive  power  train  systems  and  integration  is  preferred.
·  Experience  with  LabVIEW,  Perl,  Python,  or  C  is  desirable; 
·  Knowledge  of  battery  cyclers  (Maccor,  Bitrode,  Arbin,  Digatron,  AeroVironment)  is  desirable;
·  Experience  working  within  a  manufacturing  R&D  environment  while  interfacing  with  global  contract  manufacturers,  specifically  in  Asia  is  strongly  desired;
·  Regulatory  compliance  and  testing  (SAE,  FMVSS,  OEM  standards,  USABC,  UN-T  etc.)  experience  preferred;
·  Experience  with  CAN-bus  communication  and  interfacing  is  desirable.
·  Experience  with  remote  controlled  test  equipment  via  GPIB,  Ethernet,  etc.  is  desirable;
·  Strong  organizational  and  documentation  skills  required;
·  Ability  to  work  well  in  fast-paced  team-oriented  culture;
·  Ability  and  willingness  to  take  initiative  and  offer  independent  thought;
·  Excellent  communication  and  presentation  skills  required; 
·  Ability  to  effectively  manage  multiple,  competing  priorities;
·  Ability  and  willingness  to  travel  approximately  10-15%;
·  Bilingual  (Mandarin/English)  is  required;

·  Coordinate  with  design  center  at  Headquarters,  customer  and  contract  manufacturer  on  all  test  and  design  validation  activities,  including
a)  Define,  develop,  and  Ｅxecute  battery  system  tests
b)  Implement  new  tests  including  MSA,  test  set  up,  calibration  and  all  related  matters
c)  Through  tests,  ensure  products  are  in  compliance  with  design  specifications


·  Support  product  engineers  to  ensure  that  products  are  properly  monitored  to  ensure  design  integrity
·  Support  CM  to  develop  in-process  test  plans  to  ensure  product  integrity
·  Support  customer  to  ensure  that  product  meets  customer  requirements  through  proper  testing  processes.
·  Support  design  center  in  new  test  development,  test  data  collection  and  trouble-shooting;  prepare  test  reports  for  NPI  and  on-going  production,  and  other  test  related  activities.
·  Perform  battery  systems  validation  under  dynamic  electrical,  and  environmental  conditions;
·  Develop  battery  system  test  specifications,  processes  and  documentation
