1.  Designs  and  develops  new  products  and  products  to  enhance  existing  product  line  in  conjunction  with  Product  Marketing.  Performs  various  activities,  including  Ｓelection  of  materials,  form,  fit  and  function,  design  failure  mode  effect  analysis,  design  reliability  testing;  and  prepares  appropriate  engineering  documentation  to  support  ordering,  manufacturing,  and  shipment  of  designed  products;
2.  Provide  detailed  analysis  of  budgets,  schedules,  and  manning  required  implementing  the  specified  project.  Responsible  to  assure  all  required  activities  are  completed  within  the  planned  time  frame  and  budget;
3.  Develop  cost  justification  information  and  write  Request  for  Expenditure  before  proceeding  on  to  Tool  development;
4.  Assure  that  process  and  product  quality  standards  are  consistently  met  Haworth  standard;
5.  Develop  Bill  of  Materials,  routings,  and  standards,  Write  and  release  Engineering  Change  Orders  (ECOs)  ,  Prepares  engineering  documentation  to  support  manufacturing  or  engineering  changes  to  the  established  products,  including  changes  to  design,  materials,  and  manufacturing  processes;
6.  Determines  proper  material  Ｓelection  by  performing  static  and  dynamic  engineering  calculations  with  appropriate  engineering  tools.  Analyzes  material  cost  by  performing  mathematical  calculations  to  determine  material  mass  and  volume  properties.  Applies  calculated  data  with  Purchasing  supplied  cost  to  determine  product  material  cost;
7.  Provides  direction  to  Engineering  Designers  and  Drafters.  Works  with  Engineering  Designers  and  Drafters  to  review  form,  fit,  and  function  of  product  design  by  utilizing  Computer  Aided  Design  (CAD)  and  Pro-E  base  models;
8.  Utilizes  engineering  principles  and  engineering  tools  to  calculate  and  evaluate  alternative  manufacturing  procedures  for  best  possible  production  costs;
9.  Develops  engineering  detail  and  assembly  documentation  to  support  tooling  quotations,  manufacturing  processes,  cost  analysis,  and  final  product  implementation,  utilizing  engineering  principles  and  tools;
10.  Develops  engineering  support  information  to  assist  Product  Marketing  with  technical  data  sheets,  planning  guides,  and  price  sheets;
11.  Assists  Sales  Engineers  or  deals  directly  with  customers  regarding  technical  requests  relevant  to  assigned  products;
12.  Performs  daily  maintenance  activities  associated  with  existing  product  line,  including  frequently  contacting  Manufacturing,  and  Quality  Assurance  to  assure  that  product  meets  all  specifications  set  forth  by  Engineering  and  Agency  Standards;
13.  Drive  production  continuous  improvement  on  safety,  quality  and  cost  projects.  Support  Kaizen  event  on  production;
14.  Periodically  performs  reliability  and  performance  testing  to  ensure  manufactured  product  meets  engineering  performance  specifications.  Responsibility  includes  acquisition  of  manufactured  product,  test  requisition

1.  New  products  develop  and  industrialization,  and  introduction.  Work  with  related  department  (marketing,  Quality,  Production,  Purchasing)  bring  to  production.  Ensure  all  NPIP  process  followed  and  necessary  documents  are  filed;
2.  Response  for  assigned  product  line  healthy  operation,  provide  technical  support;
3.  Timely  response  and  solve  problem  for  production  and  customer  issues  related  products  design  and  production;
4.  Continuously  improvement  production  safety;  productivity;  Quality  and  cost  performance.
