·  At  least  3  years  experience  in  the  design  and  supervision  of  electrical  engineering  works  for  petrochemical  and  industrial  projects
    ·  Familiar  with  electrical  standards  and  codes.
    ·  Familiar  with  explosion  proof  type  and  area  classification  Knowledge
    ·  Good  command  of  English  speaking  and  writing
    ·  Familiar  with  AutoCAD  or  equivalent  for  electrical  design
 
EDUCATION  REQUIREMENT: 
Bachelor  degree  or  above  in  Electrical  Engineering  or  relevant  discipline 

1.  Execute  work  in  accordance  with  the  applicable  Project  Procedures  and  Standards. 
2.  Develop  the  detailed  schedule  for  Instrument  Engineering  and/or  Design  activities  if  necessary. 
3.  Develop  specification  and  prepare  material  requisitions  for  switchboards,  generators,  motors,  UPS  systems  and  other  required  electrical  equipment.  Issue  material  requisitions  for  enquiry,  order  placement  and  for  any  subsequent  revisions.
4.  Decide  on  project  area  classification  and  give  guidance  to  other  Groups  on  the  correct  application  of  electrical  equipment  and  materials. 
5.  Review  Vendors’  quotations,  prepare  technical  quotation  evaluation  and  recommend  the  final  technically  acceptable  Vendor. 
6.  Hold  co-ordination  meetings  and  engineering  review  meetings  with  Vendors  of  major  equipment  as  required. 
7.  Carry  out  the  following  functions  relative  to  Vendor  documentation:
        -    Review  document  requirements  and  issue  dates  for  major  equipment  with  Vendors  at  the  pre-order  meeting.
