1.  Excellent  knowledge  of  Chinese  and  international  fire  protection  system  design  &  installation  codes,  specifications  and  regulations  (GB,  UL,  FM,  NFPA,  etc.). 
2.  Extensive  Experience  in  the  design  and  sizing  of  fire  protection  systems. 
3.  Familiar  with  hazardous  material  storage  codes. 
4.  Familiar  with  various  fire  extinguishing  systems: 
          Foam  system,  Dry  powder  system,  Extinguisher  system, 
          Hydrant  and  monitor  system,  Riser  system,
          Clean  gas  agent  system,
          Water/Foam  Deluge  system,
          Water/Foam  Sprinkler  system,
          Water  spray  system,
          Water  mist  system. 
5.  Experience  in  the  inspection,  testing  and  start-up  of  fire  protection  and  detection  systems. 
6.  Familiar  with  project  documentation  submission  procedures  and  relevant  communication  to  China  Fire  Bureau  Authorities.   
7.  Excellent  knowledge  of  water  system  that  shall  cover  the  domain  of  water  treatment  system  and  service  system  in  chemical  enterprise  and  building  service  system.
8.  Good  communication  skills  in  English  (speaking  and  writing)  and  Mandarin, 
9.  Able  to  work  in  a  project  team  environment 
10.  Able  to  take  a  fire  protection  system  from  design  phase  to  completion 
11.  Familiar  with  relevant  software  packages  for  engineering  and  design,  at  least  sufficient  knowledge  in  the  use  of  MS  Office,  AutoCAD,  AutoPlant,  calculation  software,  etc.
12.  University  degree  in  Water  system  Engineering  or  environmental  engineering. 

1.  Carry  out  design  work  of  a  unit  or  units  as  required  in  accordance  with  agreed  project  schedule.  Supervise  the  work  of  assigned  subordinates  on  the  project. 
Using  the  basis  of  design  to  make  detailed  calculations  to  develop  the  design  and  be  responsible  for  the  accuracy  of  these  calculations. 
2.  Prepare  Process  Flow  Diagrams,  Equipment  Specifications  and  process  descriptions  for  review. 
3.  Prepare  Data  sheet  and  Material  requirement,  Technical  Bidding  Evaluation  or  other  documents  issued  for  query. 
4.  Ensure  that  detail  design  methods,  standards  and  data  used  conform  to  client’s  requirements  and/or  those  issued  by  FW. 
5.  Ensure  that  FW  Health  and  Safety,  Environmental  and  Quality  Assurance  procedures  are  followed  during  Ｅxecution  of  all  contracts. 
6.  Review  Supplier’s  quotations  from  an  engineering  standpoint. 
7.  Participate  in  review  of  project  model.
