1.  Strong  experience  and  technical  background  for  instrument  design,  familiar  with  design  procedure  and  cooperation  with  other  disciplines.
  2.  Familiar  with  instrument  code  and  standard  and  its  implementation.
  3.  Familiar  with  design  delivery  list  and  depth  for  every  phase  design,  such  as  cost  estimate;  conceptual  design;  basic  engineering  design;  preliminary  design;  detail  design.
  4.  Familiar  with  important  instrument  software  application.
  5.  Good  responsibility,  good  team  work  spirit. 
  6.  Effective  communication  skill  with  fluent  spoken  and  written  English.
   
Qualifications
  1.  Degree  in  instrument  engineering,  at  least  10  years  multi  project  working  experience,  at  least  4  years  of  instrument  group  leader  experience.
  2.  Rich  experience  of  instrument  design  checking  and  review.
  3.  Must  be  capable  of  working  in  a  team  environment.
  4.  Must  have  experience  in  working  with  people  of  different  culture  and  backgrounds.
  5.  Rich  experience  for  coordination  with  other  disciplines,  familiar  with  the  scope  of  work  split  with  relevant  disciplines.

1.  According  to  project  strategy  to  scheme  detail  instrument  design  specification  with  project  manager.
  2.  Leading  development  instrument  design  based  on  data  from  client  and  upstream  discipline,  including  instrument  engineering  specification,  instrument  type  choice,  instrument  index,  instrument  data  sheet,  CCR  layout,  auto-control  description,  logic  system  diagram,  etc.
  3.  Leading  instrument  calculation  according  to  process  data  and  requirement.
  4.  Leading  and  review  design  date  for  downstream  disciplines  design  input.
  5.  Facilitate  or  review  the  instrument  equipment  inquiry  MR  and  data  sheet.  Leading  the  instrument  equipment  TBA  work.
  6.  Leading  crosscheck  between  instrument  and  relevant  disciplines.
  7.  Leading  the  evaluation  of  new  instrument  vendor. 
  8.  Scheme  the  work  scope  split  with  vendor  if  necessary,  such  as  PLC/DCS  vendor  for  configuration.
